The line of mopes wraps around the warehouse hidden in the Valley’s North Hollywood. It moves, I take a step. These men are not the chiseled, two-hundred pound studs with eight-inch-plus penises of the A-list. They will never get the call to work with even passable looking woman in a scene for a mid-tier studio, [...]

Update
The first novel:
Most of my novel’s first readers came through for me and have emailed honest feedback of the first draft. With their generous edits, I’ve completed my second draft. I’ll send the second draft out to a smaller group of people, tweak it a bit more from their consensus, then turn the final draft over to be sold.
The second novel:
Yes, the second novel. I started outlining my second novel but stopped once the ideas started flowing and just started writing. The first ten pages are done. This one is set in the world of boxing and mixed martial arts, narrated in second-person, present-tense point of view. This guarantees that nobody will ever read it, ha ha.
Sunlight will not hit my face until Winter while I write. Most likely I’ll burn through a good part of my savings and will be destitute, but I’m fine with this.
Update
The relationship between a writer and his audience is not unlike any other. Communication from both sides is important to keep things healthy. Here’s what’s up.
The 16,000 word story I posted from January through Feb, Mettle, is going to have to tie readers over for a while. As of the end of Feb I’ve been working day and night (when I’m not on set) editing my novel. This first pass edit is by far the single most important thing I can do for my writing career and it takes priority over every waking hour that I’m not at work.
Crafting stories worthy of you visiting this site to read, especially of the scale I’m now writing them (novella length), takes an extraordinary commitment of focus, time and creativity. I’m only human so I’m marshaling all the resources that I have into my novel’s manuscript.
There are a group of first readers that I need to hand the text over to, and after that, I’ll revise again according to their feedback.
Once I do hand the text over to the first readers I will start posting short stories again. Until then, my focus needs to be absolute. This could be a couple weeks from now. Could be a month or more. Impossible to say.
My concern isn’t time, it’s handing over the best possible manuscript to the person whom has agreed to sell it for me. I can not fuck around.
Please be patient with the process, it’s all to create the absolute best possible book I am capable of creating.

Progress Report
The Novel: Thirty-five pages into my novel’s manuscript done. The proverbial first ten pages are among my best I’ve ever written. A ball-peen hammer to the solar plexus from paragraph one, if you didn’t like the Zero Sum series because it was too graphic you’ll have a hard time getting past the first page. I’m not writing it to please anybody but myself because I have something to say. Actually, to the contrary…
Without giving it away, the novel is a scathing dressing down of some of the ethically challenged people in porn and some of the fucked up things that exist. Me and all of my shortcomings are fair game too, I give no quarter even to my alter-ego character. Actually, I’m harder and more critical of myself than any other character. (more…)
Welcome
My name is Tyler Knight. I am dead average in every way except one. I happen to be an A-list porn star. This blog chronicles the elations and pains of my life through creative memoirs.
If this is your first time visiting, the Table of Contents is a good place to start. Otherwise, my newest posts are below.
The stories under the Creative Memoir category, told through the perspective of a normal guy in very abnormal circumstances are all true. The stories posted under the Fiction category are just that. Fiction.
My answers in the Q&A section are honest responses that I felt at the time questions were posed to me. Although I answer directly I have no axe to grind. I will not temper my responses or go back and re-edit to spare anyone’s feelings.
This site is porn free and will remain that way. I’d like to know what you think so please comment liberally.
Enjoy,
Tyler
